Horseback Riding Lessons (English Style) - Beginner
Learn to ride a horse - English Style!
Learn & practice basic equitation skills, gain self-confidence, and get comfortable around horses.
Learn how to safely tie, groom, saddle and bridle, mount, and ride a horse!
Activity Details
This is a high risk activity and should be performed and supervised by an experienced instructor.
Equipment
- Helmet
- Tack (varies by activity type but can include bareback pad, saddle, bridle, etc.)
- Riding boots may be required, depending on the type of stirrups. Check with your activity leader.
Parent Prep: Check with your activity leader if your child should wear special clothing such as riding boots or long pants. Also, check if the leader is able to provide a horse & riding ring for lessons, or if the leader only does "barn visits" for families who already own or lease a horse.

Advanced horseback riding lessons - English Style!
Learn & practice advanced equitation skills and develop your riding "aides" in posting, extended trotting, cantering, performing figure 8's at trot and canter, and jumping!
Learn & Practice complete care of the horse as well
