Safety first: explain the importance of safety gear and how to wear it properly. Also teach them how to fall properly.

Parent Prep: It is helpful if you know of a smooth surface nearby to recommend to your leader such as a nearby park which has smooth paved surfaces or an outdoor basketball court (assuming it's available).

Before skateboarding replaced rollerblades at the X-Games, inline skating dominated the extreme sports. Strap on your skates and improve your technique & creativity with freestyle!!!

Go exploring your neighborhood or park on skates. A great activity for a child who loves being outdoors and active.
